Prof. Eskofier is an “inspiration for entrepreneurs”
Unipreneurs prize recognizes dedication of role models
Björn Eskofier, Chair of Machine Learning and Data Analytics Lab at FAU, has been honored as a “role model and inspiration for entrepreneurs” by the Unipreneurs initiative, which is supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action.
The purpose of the Unipreneurs initiative is to identify and honor university professors who focus on entrepreneurship and transfer alongside their research and teaching activities and are thus role models and inspiration for entrepreneurs at their universities. The aim is to encourage start-ups at universities.
20 university lecturers selected from around 700 nominations received the prize during the award ceremony in Berlin.
